July 24th & 25th Beginner Silversmithing Class

$350 DEPOSIT due at signup!!! ($325 will need to be sent via Venmo or cash upon arrival)

In this beginner class you will learn all things creating QUALITY and AUTHENTIC jewelry pieces. We will spend plenty of time sawing, soldering, fitting and dressing stones, polishing and finishing pieces, and you will have plenty of one-on-one mentorship. At the end of this class you will be able to start making jewelry right out of your own workspace(I use my kitchen, haha!!).

You will leave with a few tools to help get your work bench started and the knowledge of quality craftsmanship. I will teach you all the tips & tricks that I have under my belt, allowing you a head start in your craft! I will be supplying all tools, and some of them you will get to take home!!

What you will need to bring— silver & a torch(purchase links will be sent to you), and a great attitude! It’s not much that you will need, so don’t expect to spend a fortune.

Did i mention a great attitude?? This is such an important part of our class. Silversmithing has PLENTY of challenges, especially while learning. If you are easily frustrated or quick to give up this may not be the class or route for you. Also- If you have a hard time seeing little details up close, intense arthritis, or soreness in your hands or arms, this will be a very challenging course for you.

Silversmithing is very fun however it is very demanding of health and movement! This is a BEGINNER class, meaning no prior knowledge is necessary. A little bit is helpful however if you are already creating pieces on your own, there will be little to no need to take this course.

You will leave with 2-3 finished pieces, that you can use to mark the importance of saying YES- a pair of earrings, a ring, and depending on if we have time or not we’ll do something a little extra!
