my pride and joy of a peice; 55 hours of blood, sweat, and tears- literally. she will be in the website this evening!

the hardest piece i’ve had to honor to create. she’s so wonderful to look at and even more special when i decide to strut her around town! she’s heavy, bold, elegant, blissful, beautiful, radiant, stunning, classy, graceful, stylish, striking, beaming, dapper, and full of life and stories.

this necklace is strung of 96 handmade beads along with 18 total stones; 10 strung pendants, 8 on the naja. she is set with tyrone turquoise of many color variations and adorned in fine and sterling silvers.

While I am not an official tribal member, I bestow the honor and tradition of being a granddaughter(not sure how many greats) of a Cherokee Woman and a second generation Silversmith. I first was introduced to silversmithing at Tascosa High School under the beautiful, Liz Strobel, and I’ve since obtained a certificate in Cowboy Arts & Fabrication under Native American Master Artist- Eugene Ross (Navajo) & spur maker- Wyatt Bishop. Each and every piece I design and create is entangled with the elegance of Grit and Grace. Salty Bronc Silver is proudly handcrafted here locally in The Great Texas Panhandle.

yes; i am a white woman who made a traditional native piece, however the color of my skin doesn’t give me any limits to what i can/can’t create or sell. my pieces are made with the intention of carrying on a tradition and life-style of the native peoples before me. i have native blood and the amount- regardless of how much or little or if i have a tribal card or not- doesn’t determine my limits or the quality or worth of my work.

the only reason that this is on sale is because a stone cracked, it has been sealed! however this piece is able to be shipped back to me at anytime for any repairs! if the stone ever breaks the replacement will be free of charge and if priority!
